CATCHING UP WITH AM WILL HUGES

Well, the beginning of the season has been pretty interesting. There was no snow when i got here (tignes) and 3 thousand Spanish people. Then it started to snow and didn't stop for about a month. I have never seen so much snow in the 11 years i've been here. The avalanche risk was 5/black flag and hardly any of the lifts were open. We rode trees for days on end until finally the sun came out. We've been out hiking everywhere since and got some super sick lines in. It got a bit windy the other day so now finding good snow is a bit tricky but theres a load forecast for this weekend so i might take a few days off to recover and be ready for next week. I also went over to La Clusaz yesterday for this avant premier boardtest. Met the french Artec lot and had a bit of a shred. That resort looks like it would be super sick with a bit of fresh snow and no weekend punters.
