Wyoming For A Day "On February 8th Gus and I woke up at 7:30 with a plan on driving to Wyoming for a day of shredding. Once awake we loaded all of the gear into the car and started heading up the sorta longish drive up state. Not to far behind us was Scott Stevens, Ben Bogart, and Ross "the Boss" driving to meet up with us. When Gus and I got to the spot we had just started setting up the rail and our "Brosephs" had shown up. When we set up the drop in ramp i was strapping in on it to check the speed. little did I know that once i dropped in the whole drop in ramp would fall backwards and collapse into many pieces. so we had to all sling each other. After we had all gotten shots and were happy we were off to find another spot to snowboard at before it got to dark to film. we came across this church with a ton of awesome things to do behind it. we only had about 45 minuets left before it was dark out so i set up this down flat close out rail. Ideally i wanted to get a frontside boardslide on it so i did some warm up 50-50s so i could get comfortable. the only thing that scared me more than the fact that the rail closes out on one side is that the rail was really rusty and i didn't know how it would slide sideways. Anyways i dropped in and slapped up a frontboard.....I would say that the one in a million happened and slipped out and got a terrible shinner. It hurt but i was still able to snowboard so i decided to try it again. i just thought to myself that there was no way that it could happen again. drop # 2 i hopped on it and slipped out again got another shinner in the same spot and hit my sternum right on the flat. after that I took that as a lets leave sorta thing. So we all decided that the day went well and we drove home back to SLC".
