SHIT. I NEED TO DO SOME CHRISTMAS SHOPPING.

It’s getting late and I don’t have anything good yet. Lady needs something nice for sure, family, friends get golf balls. It’s dumping outside. We’re getting ready for a bunch of storms that are getting ready to hit the west coast. I’ll send some photos of the snow banks growing in Mammoth.

It’s time to start putting together a game plan for the year. It looks like the early season will be good in our area so I’ll be in Cali for awhile. Between Tahoe, Sonora and a few other spots I can’t talk about we should be busy. I’ll start out filming with Autumn Line and then go on a trip with the Grenade guys in late Jan. There are so many spots I want to hit up this year. There are some jumps I’ve been thinking about for awhile, I kind of already have tricks I want to do on them. I talk to Nima and that’s how all the rail guys think, they know what rail they want to hit, what trick they want to do. It’s harder with powder jumps because things form differently or spots won’t get good for a few seasons. There are so many things that can go wrong. However, some days everything looks perfect and your freaking out trying to figure out what to do. It takes work to do anything in the backcountry. Working out who’s doing what is first up. Then there’s getting to the thing your going to hit. Is it snowmobile access or hiking? Either one can take hours. Build it or natural? Line or jump? It does take a lot of work, and then you have to land.
