MY OBSESSIVE COMPULSIVENESS

My obsessive compulsiveness has started to manifest itself in the form of looking for new spots to shred. And since the Forrest Service closes a good chunk of the mts around the Mammoth area to snowmobiling, it makes walking the only way to get to some of these remote areas. So I’ve been walking, snowshoeing and cross country snowboarding everywhere. In some ways it makes finding spots even more rewarding but that is in a delicate balance with energy expenditure. Some of these spots take 2, 3 or even 4 hours to get to. After hiking 4 hours is anyone really going to want to hike a jump? Doubtful. 2 hours is about the most hiking anyone wants to do while still being able to ride hard. It seems like it’s really worked out as we have a great start on the movie and have been hitting all new stuff.

Glenn Sparks: Haha, yeah dude it's definitly more rewarding. I tried some back country last year with your 159W board. I thought the wideness was great but I developed pressure cracks about half a foot in on both the nose and tail. Have you had any troubles with it at all?
Chris: Is this for that Left Brain, Right Brain film ive seen trailers for? when is that out or is it already out :S
