ARTEC AND JUNKYARD “IN THE CITY”!

We are pleased to announce that Artec Snowboards will be sponsoring Junkyard in the city, a rail jam contest that will take place in Oslo, Norway on the 3rd of December 2011. Featuring 20 of the world’s elite rail and street riders battling it out for $15,000 in prize money, the Junkyard in the city event will go down on the steps of the city’s main railway station in what is expected to be the largest snowboard rail jam in Scandinavia. Junkyard in the city will be a prime opportunity for fans to get an up close view of some of the most talented urban riders doing what they do best. Situated in a Scandinavian cosmopolitan center like Oslo, and featuring a DJ, live light show, and a focus on safety and the environment, Junkyard in the City is sure to share the stoke of snowboarding with a broad audience, from core shredders to people checking out snowboarding for the first time. Artec is excited to be working in cooperation with Junkyard, Northern Europe’s largest online retailer, and to be involved with bringing snowboarding to the streets of Oslo.

We are also proud to announce that Artec Rider Hans Ahlund, Nejc Ferjanand Global AM rider Zach Rawleswill be chasing that prize money in Oslo. Stay tunned !
