Good bye Depths of Hell
So after Wyoming where we were close to entering the depths of hell, we made a break and drove to Canada. I can only handle so many grey, windy, shitty days. The drive was long and we were greeted by a closed rode at one point, where we waited for three hours so we could continue our journey northward. Driving late at night can be kind of fun sometimes, other times your eyelids go into a sort of battle with your eyeballs. I have some powerful eyelids and they won yet again, I pulled over and passed out into a pavement induced coma.
Our crew in Canada was all time again. Benji Ritchie, Myself, Greg Wheeler, Dano Pendygrasse, and none other than “The Wizard” himself, Shin Campos. The first two days were blue until noon and then clouded up in the afternoon. Day three saw a blue as can be day in Canada. Doesn’t happen that often but when it does nothing compares. We hit a ton of stuff, most of it being really good. Getting home after a solid thirteen hours of shredding can be a little delirious. You’re tired beyond belief but so buzzed from being full throttle all day you end up staring into space hoping food will magically appear. Riding with Shin and Benji is amazing, these guys are true Canadian all-stars and I feel really fortunate to be able to shred with them. Now comes the time asked question “Should I stay or should I go”? Weather looks bleak and I miss my girl a ton. Being on the road for such large amounts of time makes me homesick. Spring is probably going off in Mammoth so it just may be time to shred some park. We’ll see.
